Performance

Great setlist; "The Sweetest Thing" and the debut of "Don't Dream It's Over". otherwise the same Sphere setlist, by and large. I caught an October 2023 show and this was, despite the general "same-ness" of presentation, I think better played. Bono had a few vocal flubs on the first one I saw, this seemed more consistent across the board.

Sound

I am so, so happy it exists but from a technical perspective, it is a bit wanting. a little "thin". no disrespect intended - but I know there are better quality sources out there.

I knew from first go-round that security was tight, so I didn't even try to take my TASCAM to the show. So God love the taper who ran the risk!
Recording: Audience microphone - 3 stars

Audience

Fantastic. We had floor tix and were about 15' / 3m away from Edge. Crowd was INTO IT. We left about halfway through to watch from the edge (no pun intended) of the GA floor and even there, the crowd was really into it.

Overall

Drove up, day of show, from Phoenix. two curious things:

1) Cresting the ridge from Hoover Dam area to, BAM, where you see the distant Strip, wife changed the radio station. "Streets" was on. That wasn't weird at all.

2) 30 minutes later, walking to hotel check-in: "Mysterious Ways" on the hotel audio. We both looked at each other: "is this intended?" it wasn't. It was a 90s Radio satellite channel. Two songs we knew we'd hear that night, different media, different places. Ha!

Show was great. We took our daughters, their first U2 show! They spotted what we now know are the "easter eggs" on the Sphere, the blinking light, the flying dove, the balloon, the helicopter signalling start of the show.

Fantastic time, great setlist, great performance, the Daniel Lanois shoutout, just a lovely night.
