Performance

I haven't seen U2 since 2009 (360 tour) but thought that the band were really engaged and on point. The Edge was visibly happy during Vertigo. I thought that the best songs were the up-tempo rock numbers: stand-outs for me were Until the End of the World, Acrobat, Vertigo, Where the Streets Have No Name.

Audience

Overall the crowd were engaged from what I could see; I was in General Admission about 10 rows back from the front row, a little to the (stage) right of center (closer to the Edge than to Adam). Bono expressed surprise at how engaged the crow were for a Wednesday night, he made some kind of comment at some point (not sure when, would have to watch a recording to see). But the crowd was older and lower-energy; and there was a noticeable dip in enthusiasm at the album tracks, which is a pity because those were some of the better performances.

Overall

I loved the show, was so happy that I went. It was a great performance.
