Performance

The band was in fine form, seemed pretty relaxed and appreciative to be back in Montreal. Bono talked a lot throughout the show, and the MacPhisto speech was very political and pointed. But a very passionate performance.

Sound

I really enjoyed this bootleg - probably too much audience noise for some (cheering, not chatter) but it gives a lot of atmosphere and made me feel as if I was right back at the show. Was great to be able to listen to and relive the experience on the long flight back home, so a million thanks to the taper and U2Start for having it up so fast.

Audience

Super loud, engaged and fun audience.

Overall

Super well organized GA line and stadium entrance. I was number 144 so got to main stage in between Bono and Adam. Great spot for when they were on the main stage but they spent a lot of time elsewhere so a lot of time i couldn't see the band which took away a bit of the experience for me. (Second night i was on the catwalk close to e stage - much better spot). The new songs were great live, and personal highlights were the opening (LIAWHL, Blackout, LOH - really sets up the show) SATS, Acrobat, Desire and the ending with 13 was beautiful. I wasn't sure how much i was going to like this show going in but had a great time and it was nice to see the band back and in top form.
