Performance

The band was very good, as usual, but Bono was sick, and he couldn't sing properly some songs at the beginning.

Overall

This concert is strange, because it has so many highlights but one or two considerable lows. Bono was sick. He said it at the beginning, almost justifying his poor voice in early songs. He couldn't sing Kite in particular, which is a shame, as it's usually one of the highlights of the tour. But then eventually he feels better or is motivated by the great crowd, as he more than makes up for his voice by singing extra parts in many songs like AIWIY, The Fly, Bullet, Walk On, etc. AIWIY is fantastic, one of the best you'll hear in this tour.
Bono jokes that U2 is like a good luck charm for the local basketball team (I think they lost the final that year, so not that good luck, I'm afraid). The crowd kept shouting "beat L.A." or something like that.
Overall, this is one of the best shows in the 1st leg, with extra drama due to Bono's health. Definitely add it to your collection.
