I am a proud sophomore in B.M.C. Durfee High School. I play Viola in the Durfee Orchestra, and love being a part of everything else that involves my school. I also, proudly write, sing, play guitar and piano in a band named "Impetus." I am lucky enough to share the band with two of my closest friends, Josh (drums) and Rob (bass, guitar, piano). |

It is a toss up between No Line On The Horizon, Boy and POP. No Line On The Horizon is an album of many faces, and has many egos. It is the album that I have waited to see come out. The album that I have been waiting for U2 to write. I'm not saying this out of new album hype either. I'm truely serious that this is their best work ever. Boy is an album in which I connect to, being a teenager. I connect to the lyrics, and dance to the music, what more could I ask for? POP, on the other hand is just all-around awesome sauce. The entire era is just pure greatness. It is very inventive, and anyone who dislikes it is just old fashoned. Unfortunately, the songs were not completed, but the raw ideas and the feeling of the album is just unmatched. These albums are defintely better than The Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby. |

POPMart Live In Mexico. I haven't seen Vertigo Milan, or Joshua Tree Paris, unfortunately. I like ZOO TV Sydney, Elevation Boston, Elevation Slane Castle, and Vertigo Chicago all equally. UABRS is my least favorite, but it deffinately has it's moments. |

Performance:
Bono was having trouble with his voice this evening. Plus, some minor lyrical mishaps. The rest of the band was right on, except for a very small error during Magnificent, when Edge muted his string during the solo for a milli-second. 
Audience:
A bit biased since I was there (GA pit!) . However, I was surprised by the sing alongs and jumping! Everybody in the GA pit was jumping in time to Get On Your Boots and Elevation! I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For was beautiful, the bootleg does no justice. We also kicked ass during Shut Your Eyes for Snow Patrol.
Son:
Solid 4.5. (The four star source). I'd maybe play around with the EQ for a few minutes though.

GOYB - My favorite performance to date
Magnificent - Pure Magic! I can't even imagine how great it will be in a huge stadium!
Vertigo - Rocked, my favorite performance to date, with a nice little She Loves You snippet.
Beautiful Day - I love the tone of Edge's Explorer!!!
Audience:
Pretty big audience, but just not the same as a stadium filled with U2 fans. Plus, they were edited out a lot of times.

The fact that Edge took an acoustic guitar instead of the piano for NASOTR kinda puzzles me though...

Amazing performance. I love Pride, it was very special to watch them play it live  . COBL is at it's best, I hope it stays like this on the tour. Bono's voice is amazing!!!!!!!!

This is by far, the greatest bootleg from this leg of the tour. Top notch stuff coming from the band, gives hope for the future.
Audience:
Not audible enough, but what do you want from ALD/AUD?
Son:
Perfect sound, everybody is perfectly equal. It doesn't skip, or jump around with the audio.
Global:
Definitely worth a listen!!

Obviously, the tour developed with time.
Audience:
I love this audience! They sing along with every song, and they scream obscenities (in a good way) before All I Want Is You . You feel as if you're there singing and dancing along with them.
Son:
I really wish that this show was broadcasted like the Irving Plaza gig. Great setlist.
Global:
Nothing special, but a great audience.

Before I start, please note that this review is for the Audience recording.
Elevation - As always, rocked the house.
BD - Kinda average, but nonetheless good.
UTEOTW - Better than Slane or South Bend. Awsome, awsome, awsome!
NYD- Average, nothing special. What makes a great performance of this song for me is when Bono connects the "Be One" with Edge's backing vocals.
Kite - Really nice performance. Spot on.
New York - I like the 3rd leg ones better. However, the guitar was nice and loud, it made the some really enjoyable.
Out of Control - Rocked. Me like.
SBS - Awsome. I love the Elevation versions.
SIAMAYCGOOI - One of my favorite performances.
In A Little While - My favorite performance as well. I lurve when Edge does the falsettos for Bono
Desire - Average, a lot like Slane.
TGBHF - I loved it. 
All I Want is You / Streets - Very nice segway, equal to Slane imo.
Mysterious Ways - Freaking Awsome.
The Fly - The BEST Elevation performance of this song. my favorite from this tour.
Bullet - Just like the Boston DVD............ only better!
WOWY - A beautiful performance. However, a Shine Like Stars snippet couldn't have hurt. 
One - I loved it. A solid performance.
Walk On - Just like the Boston DVD......... again, only better!
Bono - His voice wasn't all there that night, but this boot still rocks.
Edge - Great performance, m'man.
Adam - He plays Bass. I don't think that he has much to screw up lol. (kidding!)
Larry - Solid performance.

Exactly like Slane. I liked them mainly because they cheered at the right times lol. For example, they loved when MW started, and shut up when Edge started playing lol.

Larry is on Fire!!!! Listen to SBS, its fecking amazing! Everyone is giving the performance of they're lives in this one. Bono really shows how much soul he has in this one. New York is the Best in this. Walk On had me in tears lol. If you don't have it already, GET DOWNLOADING!
Audience:
Audience is wonderful............. so much "spirit", if thats what you could call it is in this one.

Its a solid Soundboard, full of awsomeness lol

They are on Fire. This Boot has the best (Vertigo tour performance of) Until the End of the World. Also, Bono doesn't make OOTS sound like crap lol. This performance of it is way better than the DVD version.

Performance:
One of the Top 5 POPMart shows
This was an excellent performance. Seriously, spot on guys. Mofo was really energetic and got my feet tapping lol. However, one setback for me was that you couldn't hear Edge sing on EBTTRT . This gig has the best performance on Miami (imo) , then is followed by an awsome Bullet, by Leg 1 standards. It also has my favorite POPMart performance of Discotheque. Larry was on Fire! I had noticed that my feet were moving particularly fast during it lol. Hold Me was another great one from this show, my second favorite performance of it (you'll read why later lol....). Mysterious Ways was hands down, my favorite POPMart performance of it. The band had great fun with it, and so did I. Oh, and Rain was just Brilliant! Suspicous Minds was funny lol, I enjoyed it because of that.......... "Get these bums outta here..." LOL I cracked up lol
My favorite performances: Mofo, Miami, Bullet, Discotheque, Mysterious Ways and Rain.
Audience:
Freaking. Awsome. They made the show for me. Without them, this would be a standard POPMart gig. From the huge Welcoming, to the singing during ISHFWILF and All I Want Is You, to the cheering and singing during MW, to the singing during Rain. They Rocked. They are my favorite POPMart audience (well, just slightly ahead of Sarajevo). They went wild during Hold Me, they really got into it, that's why this one is my second favorite.

Nothing special. Bono's voice wasn't at its best for this show......... "Take me higher!"..... not its best. Hell, I think I did it better earlier today lol  . However, I think things picked up after Bad. WOWY was great, as were most other ZOO performances of it. However, Love is Blindness could have been better. Oh, an I think that "Stand by me" rocked

The Electric Co. - Didn't have the Cry in the beginning
Elevation - Larry was on fire
Zoo Station - Edge sounded a bit distant, but Larry made up for it

From reading Aussie's review, I don't think he liked it................. however, I have to disagree with him. This boot diserves easily 4.5 stars... maybe even 5. I didn't hear any hiss, or anything like that.

Performance:
Performance is great all the way through. not a note missed, or hit to soon. Allthough, during Vertigo, something happened to Edge around 2:39, but I'm guesing it was the guitar or something.
Audience:

Son:
The sound quality is 2.5 at most, you can barely hear the band sometimes. On top of that, Edge isn't loud enough at all. You can never hear him singing in this Boot, and the guitar isn't loud enough. Although, I like how you can hear Adam jamming along.
Global:
I'm actually a fan of this Boot. With the crowd being so loud, you can hear their singing, and even a few conversations. Its gives the feeling that your interacting with them in a way. I really felt that I was right there, next to the taper. For that reason, I am a fan of this Boot. And, the unbelievable setlist. And, as someone mentioned earlier, a great opener for the fifth leg of the tour |
