I've been a U2 fan since the Boy album and was lucky enough to see them at the Paradise in Boston on their first tour. It was a night that changed me forever ... almost 30 years later (yikes), I love U2 more than ever ... they are my spirituality, they fill my heart and my soul with joy, love and hope. Viva U2!
"Rick Rubin has a larger looming presence on this album than his 'thank you' deserves. He asked 'Why can't more people cover U2 songs?' And it's because, with all the great sounds and arrangements, you can forget that there isn't a song there."
