1. I've always had a big soft spot for Crazy Tonight, I love the early Beatles, and Wild Honey is one of my favourite U2 songs. I'm ready for The Showman!
  2. Those 3 things don't go together very well so that should make a good song... I think
  3. Must be trolling, because that sounds like pure shit.
  4. I think the guy was just trying to emphasise a poppier, lighter sound. I get that some people prefer a heavier sound, I do as well for the most part, but if it’s done right it can still be good.

To be honest I can't remember the last light and poppy U2 song I liked... To me it sounds like a The Best Thing kinda song and that ranks for me in the bottom 10/20 U2 songs.

But I hope they will suprise me in a good way

Staring At The Sun is pretty much light and poppy and I bet you like it as most of us do

  7. Hmm yeah! Good one, I was thinking about Some Days as the last U2 poppy/light I liked but SATS is a good one. Let's hope this is the SATS on this album and the others are all comparable to other Pop songs
  8. I actually can't believe the abundance of people who like Wild Honey on here.

  9. I don’t know what there is to dislike about it. It’s not going to be many people’s favourite song but I think it’s a pretty good song, I really like Bono’s vocal on it and the general vibe from the song, without considering it a classic.
  10. More hype here please. Consistently being called out as something special in the press reviews.
