Well, you never know. We got rarities at Reading 2012, like Winnebago and Johnny Park, and that was arguably a bigger event for them with a lot more meaning behind it.
  2. That wasting light tour was special. Between this tour and the last the rarer deep cuts aren't popping up as much

In 2011 I saw enough space, for all the cows, hey johnny Park, up in arms, aurora and four or five of the tracks from wasting light before the album was released, to a paying crowd of about 15000. Last tour I didn't see anything particularly interesting at all. I wouldn't expect the rest of this tour to be any different. And opening shows with everlong seems retarded

This is my point, they've lost a bit of vigour which was introducing deep cuts to their set. To me, that made a Foo Fighters set. The Guardian's initial three-star review was spot on, actually.

Last tour imo was horrible. More covers than Ive ever seen. And their covers seem gimmicky to me.

The Glastonbury show wouldn't have been the same with deep cuts. Sure it's what I'd want but most of those 150k (?) people love best of you and all the big sing-alongs
  6. Let There Be Rock went down a treat here in Australian stadiums. Sonic highways and it's tour was a let down all round after wasting light
  7. Epic, this audio is bad though, one ear for a bit.

  8. new one not doing much for me at the moment. None of the songs really take off on first skim through
  9. The sky is a neighbourhood is pretty great!
  10. not the best album of Grohl and co, a great ballad and three ,four songs ok, but i have heard much better music by Foos. And i don't like Timberlake at all.
  11. Someone saw Lars Ulrich's interview with Dave Grohl at Beats1.
Lars tells an episode where he was almost playing drums with Bono and The Edge at min 27:25
