The question of this new You Too is:

You Too: What is your favourite JT 2017 closing song?
    - The Little Things That Give You Away
    - I Will Follow
    - One
    - Vertigo
    - I have no preference

Please vote on the frontpage of the website, in this topic you can tell us why you voted for your answer.
  2. Little things gets my vote
  3. Little Things for me also.
  4. I Will Follow
  5. Aswell as loving the new song (little things) , the way the band all finish on the B stage , book-ends the show nicely as it's where the show starts and finishes , intimate, stripped back without the screen , amidst the fans.
  6. the little things, although i would loved to have seen i will follow

  7. This is all I can say....
  8. IWF
Little Things is good song, but not as closing song...
  9. Why not ? It's the closer on the new album too . Seems like a well balanced ender to me .
I will follow for me belongs at the front end of the set

Album closers and show closers aren't always the same thing. You want the show to end on a high note, not a whimper, you know? Leave the crowd saying "FUCK YEAH" instead of "that was good".

I think other songs in the same vein (Love is Blindness, Wake Up Dead Man) were a bit different because the tours were themed in such a way that closers like that made sense. For this show, to play JT in full, play more modern hits, only to come out and play a slow, quiet, NEW song like Little Things - it's just a bit of an odd choice. I'd argue it'd be a better 2nd last song, only to finish with something like I Will Follow or Vertigo. If JT was the 2nd half of the show and it closed with Mothers (as it does), again, that'd be different. But to play a small hits set and finish with Little Things is weird to me.
  11. I prefer shows to close on a more lower pace almost melancholy song (as the ones you mention) . Like the sun going down after a beautiful day.

    That's fair.

I totally think 40 should be closing all of these shows, so we can definitely agree on that. It's Little Things in particular that I think is odd.
