  1. Long time no see...

I was keeping myself away from spoilers and it was an amazing experience to attend the concert without any idea about what would happen.
For me the highlights from the Joshua Tree part were Trip Through Your Wires (I really liked the way they changed it) and Exit... amazing energy!!

Now packing for Amsterdam 1 & 2 and Brussels!

  2. You can get Bad/America again

Hi Andrea! Great to see you again here.
  4. ASOH seemed clichéd in 1984, not sad to miss it, but 2 more chances I in Europe for me
  5. Made it back safe and sound. Great to see some new faces this weekend and also to see some familiar faces again. As far as the show goes, the last line of the BBC review sums it up perfectly for me: "...while all consented that it was a fantastic night, not all agreed the band had reached their own high standards."

The America snippet was awkward, Bono spoke a lot without really connecting and it ended with a little bit of a whimper. The Joshua Tree was great, In God's Country and Exit are a blast. Despite my best efforts, I couldn't get Kieran to lose his mind during Elevation, but hey.

    Enjoyable show and superb weekend.
  6. Couldn't have said it better. Even though the show was legendary, it was more bc. of the crowd and atmosphere around the gig. Than esp. Bono's voice and babbling.
  7. Dublin shows always special for me as im from Dublin, there is something about it I cant quite put my finger on,maybe its welcoming your own home or something like that! This show was great, as good as dublin 3 on the last tour maybe not. All in all I was glad I was there to see the JT album played in full at home! Yea they could have changed the set list but who really cares at the end of the day, my/your favorite band are still touring and still making music that excites! For that im thankful and heres to hopefully more wild(ish) nights at croker in the future

    Just my 2 euros worth
  8. Uploaded my 70 photos of the Dublin show, and added all of U2Reiniertje's photos as well. So some great stuff to check out!
