"Very good overall. The recording is enjoyable despite the few glitches, the audience were on fire and the band was clearly pumped to play their first gig ever in Scotland... A not-to-be-missed show from the early days!"

    Comments:
U2's first concert in Scotland took place in November 1980 in Edinburgh, with a sell-out attendance of 400 people the band was really on fire during this show. Great performances of Electric Co & 11 O'Clock are highlights here while listening to a recording that is up to the standards of the ones from recent years. A real must-have and gem from the early days.

  2. Love me a Scottish show.
  3. Amazing
  4. A true classic.
  5. About damn time!
  6. Absolutely recommended, up there with the Dublin National Stadium show both in performance and bootleg sound. Give it a listen, people!
  7. So... no one checks these shows of the month anymore, huh?

  8. Ah yes, an Edinburgh show! This venue was attached to the Playhouse, which is still standing and in use. Nite Club didn't last that long. Shame, because Edinburgh's music scene now is dreadful.
  9. I just listened to this show again, I had forgotten how great it is. The performance and sound are even better than I remembered. Up there with the greatest early 80's bootlegs such as Hilversum or Lido Beach.
