1. Before I pay for a bootleg, I'd rather wait for officell material. My respect to the artists. But everyone must decide for themselves.

I also buy every official release. If U2 were to release live albums occasionally then Godfather would have no chance. But U2 don't. . .
  3. I have loads of these kinds of bootlegs from back in the day of going round record fairs and i love them. The sleeve designs are just great.
Im not sure but i think 'godfather records' are an italian based company (ahem)....where there is a less strict/monitered copyright issue.
  4. U2 should sell fans audio-material from the concerts they have visited. That would be very nice. The german Band "Die Toten Hosen" doing so.
  5. anybody know where I could pick up more of these dudes silvers? Do they sell direct?

  6. I recently found a small stand at a market in Amsterdam wich is selling various silvers. Most of them are around 20 euro though....if I have some money I'll definately visit that place again. Which silvers are you looking for Gerrard?

Any of the Dublin nights from 360 really. Would nice to have a silver from all the shows I attended and you have already helped with Barcelona (although why they used a poor recording is beyond me). If you come across any then drop me a PM
  8. We had a small Godfather-related discussion the other day on the Dublin thread.

I don't think this people deserves any respect. They do not tape the shows, they do not upload the shows, they do nothing except covers (some of which are worst than U2Krystall's ones), and nevertheless they sell their CD's and/or DVD's for the fucking same price as the official U2 live albums? Fuck offffffffffff............

true. It's win win really. They use a recording and press it, somebody buys it because they want it, then they torrent it for everybody else who doesn't want to buy.

I'd prefer to have a well pressed and packaged silver of each show I attended instead of a cheap t-shirt or poster
