  2. I really love all of these songs, except Van Diemen's Land. All of them have 5 stars in my iTunes, except New York with 4, and Van Diemen's Land with 3.

It really comes down to Cedars of Lebanon and Oh Berlin, though. Oh Berlin is probably the best of the deluxe edition songs, and it's a very great, psychological, personal song that could apply to a lot of different mindsets and experiences and emotions, no doubt what U2 were feeling in the sessions in that city.

But for me it was no contest: after The Fly, Cedars of Lebanon is my favourite song. The closing lines are just really great and as a whole it's on par with Love Is Blindness for best album closer.
  3. Definitely New York. The others are great (with the exception of Miami and Oh, Berlin), but New York is just a feeling. I remember being on a plane going to somewhere (it wasn't New York) and it was all overcast and foggy and raining slightly coming onto the runway, and I had New York playing on headphones. Bliss!
  4. I voted for the underrated Van Diemen's Land. It's just a very cool song, like one of those 60's protest songs. Plus, you get a free lesson on history and geography! Maybe I'm biased because it has many cool versions, like the R&H and the Point Depot ones.
I like all these songs, I'd be happy no matter which one wins. By the way, Miami Popmart rocks!

Should we include Fez/Being Born in the list?
  5. Miami or New York...

I voted New York, but I fear Miami won't get a vote now
  6. Miami although 'Oh Berlin' comes pretty close.
  7. To me Oh Berlin is just a song they wrote obviously for the Achtung Baby remaster, therefore I can't accept it as something cool and inspired, unfortunately.
  8. yuck i can't believe people are voting for miami
  9. What about that place called Vertigo?

I went NY, can't wait to have it playing along with COBL as I drive into Manhattan one day.
  10. Miami or New York ... for me New York
