  2. Hmmm that's a close call... I feel really attached to War, but I totally adore Rattle And Hum b&w shot of Bono and Edge...
  3. TUF!!!!
  4. Rattle and Hum
  5. In the locust wind, comes a Rattle and Hum!
  6. I have to go 1: Joshua Tree, with 2: Rattle And Hum next.

    3: Unforgettable Fire
    4: October
    5: War
    6: Boy

JT was such a unique picture to me, at the time. No crazy pictures, just the landscape in the background that went nicely with the music.
  7. R&H for me.
  8. The Unforgettable Fire
  9. Rattle & Hum
  10. I saw this and thought "What an easy question, how will The Joshua Tree not have 100% of these votes?"

And then I remembered that War, Rattle and Hum, and TUF existed.

Honestly I gotta go War. R&H is so cool but its really hard to top what a cutting effect the War cover has on you.

If only both aforementioned albums were as solid as their covers
  11. This was a CLOSE call... but I'm going for The Joshua Tree. Such an iconic album deserves a cover that perfectly fitted the music and lyrical themes. And I think no other album (in U2's 80's catalogue at least) captures a record more fittingly.

War is a close 2nd for the same reasons.
