Parts of it are on YouTube but it doesn't really compare.

Yeah, it was on quite a while ago...my friend went to see it at Norwich Odeon, but like I say I have a bad feeling I've missed out...

Ah well. Just have to make sure I see 'em during the next tour! lol.

I was wondering where you'd gotten to. How's OTH compared to Adelaide?

Yeah I'm still alive here over the Tasman...... I really like it here, I drive past One Tree Hill every day on my way to work!! Its weird how many times my ipod brings up OTH or a Track from Mt Smart Stadium 06 on shuffle when I'm actually driving past. To answer your question, it rains every day almost which is a nice change from Adelaide!!

What Cinema did you see 3D in? Going to see it at the IMAX cinema in the city this afternoon

I thought it was cinema at its finest

Have already seen it twice and it just keeps getting better and better. This movie is all about the Fly!

Only one in Adelaide - Marion Megaplex, and nice to hear from you again.

We're getting a little rain. Not too much but just enough.

Ah the Megaplex.....used to be my local!!

Saw it today at Imax Queen Street Auckland.......incredible, real loud too!! I think the 3D effect was better on the slightly smaller screen, but the overall spectical of the concert(s) was better on the imax

Saw U23D in wellington last night. I was totally blown away by this movie, it was amazing. The 3D effects were awesome. loved the part in SBS where bono reaches out his hand and it it is hard to not try to grab it. also in another part where it seems like bono is looking directly in your eyes! The clarity of this movie was incredible, so much detail can be seen, like the tissue box by the drumkit, the songsheet on the ground.
The sound was great, it was LOUD like it should be.
Stand out songs for me were new years day, love and peace, SBS streets, miss sarajevo, in fact the show!!
Will be seeing it again in the next few days.

Good for you mate

Will this ever be released in Spain? There is the possibility that I go to Spain and then Scotland early summer...I don't think it will stay that long in Scotland...but it may be in Spain...any idea?

You've got that right. How powerful was Miss Sarajevo? Bono just belting it out by himself on the b-stage with smoke in the midst of the crowd. Saw it again last week, but I think that'll be it for me. It's gotta be a DVD release surely. It's keeper even without 3D effects...

"The last two records were very personal, with a kind of three piece at their heart, the primary colours of rock - bass, guitars and drum. But what we’re about now is of the same order as the transition that took us from The Joshua Tree to Achtung Baby." - Bono, September 2008
