1. I'd never really listened to it until reading this post 4 weeks ago, now it's one of my favorites, so thanks for the heads up
  2. I think My Body is a Cage into Porno would work great, or vice-versa

You're not impressing anyone with this crap, you're only embarrassing yourself.
  4. So I've been doing some listening to Reflektor and The Suburbs. This is a really good band, but I do have serious trouble getting through an entire album.

Indeed it is. Not all tracks are on the same level, I think. But the good ones really are good.

I had thought rock n roll was dead, with only a few great dinosaurs left, and Coldplay. But Arcade Fire, and Broken Bells, have taught me otherwise. Both bands transform rock and pop and turn them into something else, yet still rocky, or poppy, as the case may be (AF are rockier). Both bands can produce truly good songs, deeply rooted in the 60's, 70's and 80's, and yet so much projected towards the future at the same time.

It happened to me with all the previous albums and I made it abundantly clear over here, but Reflektor is different, I can listen to it all the way through no prob.
  7. You guys... I saw Arcade last night at Coachella... it was BEAUTIFUL. They played my all time favorite song, Crown of Love! Perfect way to end a perfect weekend in the desert
  8. All time favourite song? Wow, that's really great then Glad for you!!

It is a masterpiece, great song after great song.

  10. I can't decide between that, Tunnels, Wake Up or Sprawl II but all of those were played. Crown is getting pretty obscure so hearing it live my first time seeing them was AMAZING.

But I mean, your favorite song like EVER by any band? Over Bad, Zooropa, Streets, Stay?
