1. Hello everyone,

long ago I'm looking for the video 1987-07-15 Madrid (Estadio Santiago Bernabeu) for the Joshua Tree Tour.

I thought it was a fantastic concert and the band has it listed among the best I have given along with the Sarajevo of 1997. So I have enough interest in having it on video. I searched in torrents, P2P programs, youtube but only small pieces or stories are never the whole concert. And there are sure many of you forum goers have. I understand that it links up an entire concert video is time consuming but if someone is willing it eternally grateful.

PS: Not to make a criticism but I find it amazing that in a page with over 1000 published concert video is not in the 1989's Point Depot or at least the end of the year. Sure it's an oversight that shortly, and with a little free time, someone will be able to solve.

    See you!

I don't think they were filmed - there's two songs; Streets and I Will Follow from the final Point Depot show in a compilation DVD and might even be on the Videos page, but the rest not so sure. The audio recordings are just as good (I prefer the 27th and the 30th because they are both spectacular shows), of which the 27th I said is my all-time favourite show.

Same for the Madrid show - it'd likely be here if it ever was recorded.
  3. complete footage of Madrid may not exist. The most you can get from it is the minute or 2 that is knocking around on youtube. Its not an oversight
  4. Thanks for the information.

Now that you mention it looks familiar, however I have seen lists of videos out there and there are people who have (typical exchange pages to access a video booglet or give you another in return and did not have).

Regarding Point Depot although the day 31 is the best known of the three preceding think are better and more original with a tracklist.

    See you!
  5. 30 years to the day when U2 first played in Spain. Huge emotions ♥

  6. Yes! But yesterday I couldn't come and post

    Spoiler (click to toggle)
Not to sound pedantic but the show actually took place on July 16th, as the band came onstage at around 00:05AM. Basically the same as New Year's Eve '89 show which was played on Jan 1st 1990 if we're technically picky
