1. I don't like that, if I want a really complete collection of ALL U2 albums with ALL the songs released in albums, I have to travel to other countries, such as England, Australia and so on. I'm an Italian boy who wants to BUY ALL U2' albums, because I'm not satisfacted when I download them. But I think I will have to download some songs which have not been released in my country (The ground beneath her feet - Red cars)...
But for the future I would like to have the possibility to buy all I want about U2 without going far away, so I really hope that U2 won't release any songs in some countries only.
Does someone have the same hope of mine?
  2. It's Fast Cars, not Red Cars

But you're right, but you can download most of them through iTunes legally. But iTunes sucks since all the tracks are AAC and protected.
  3. Fast Cars was released as a bonus track in Japan because in that country CD's are very expensive, and people would rather buy an import edition instead of a national one. So japanese record industry has asked artists to include special bonus tracks, only for Japan, in order to stimulate their sales. I agree with you, and also I believe it's not an artist responsability to solve a problem of the industry. Anyway, most of these editions can be found through the net.

That's not completely true, Fast Cars was available on every deluxe edition of HTDAAB. Here in Holland it was, I have a copy with Fast Cars on it, but only on the Deluxe edition with CD, booklet and DVD.

  6. The same in Italy!
  7. Hey julienmurzi! I can't believe to what you've said! Are you saying that I lost the special edition af HTDAAB???
I hope next time I will arrive earlier to my CD shop...
Anyway, what do you think about the special UK edotion of ATYCLB? It had a further song at the end, and that was "The ground beneath her feet". In that case I have not arrived late, but simply I live in the "wrong" country...
Some of you said that these songs that are no more available on CD can be buoght on the web even legally. But I don't like to own a song ONLY on my computer! I LOVE collecting original CDs, because I need to TOUCH my music! I hope someone can understand me...
Thank you all for the correction to my mistake (Red cars...)!
  8. I have the Japanese version of The best 1990-2000 with The Fly,and the Japanese version
    of Pop have Holy Joe.

    Visit http://eil.com/
  12. Thank you dylan, but you have not done anything except making me more resigned...
I looked only the first page of the U2 - All CDs search and even this one only made me know something more about the extraordinary great number of U2 special edition CDs and DVDs...
But it's good that I can at least buy all of these editions through that site and (I'm sure) also through others!
    Thank you again!
