My ideal setlist (more so a show than a setlist)! Here goes, a bit of thinking went into this. Could be a looooooong show..., imagine trying to get a ticket to this show, it would be a killer. Setlist madness, I say! Imagine this as a scenario: 350000 fans, somewhere in Dublin. Cold as hell, a four hour snippet-mania show (yes, I like snippets) and more than seven hundred million people tuned in all over the world on radio and television.

Intro: Consists of Sgt Pepper's with the whole band shouting Everyone on the PA system, and other words like Coexist as well as others from ZooTV which were on the screens - could be a 5-7 minute intro! Enough time to grab some beer, chips and other stuff as well as getting comfortable (or actually getting a place).

Then POPmuzik / MOFO starts playing very loudly, in fact so loudly that the floor actually shakes with massive explosions and fireworks with bits of U23D playing on the POPmart / Vertigo hybrid HD screen Bono announces that everyone gets a copy of U23D with a pair of 3D glasses, in which he tries to outdo Oprah's attempt at giving away cars, iPods and goodie bags to the audience members. 23 minutes later, the show actually starts.

Then...show time! I wanna see this for real. But I'm doubting it

1. Auld Lang Syne / Where The Streets Have No Name / Psalm 116 / MLK / All You Need Is Love
2. Vertigo / Pump It Up / The Boys Are Back In Town / She Loves You / Stories For Boys / Hello
3. City of Blinding Lights / Barcelona / Port of Amsterdam
4. Until The End of The World / Two Tribes / Break On Through / Instant Karma! / Mystery Train
5. The Cry / The Electric Co. I Can See For Miles / People I Don't Know Are Trying To Kill Me/ An Cat Dubh / Into The Heart
6. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For / Could You Be Loved / Dirty Old Town / Está Chegando A Hora / Exodus / Happy Birthday / In A Little While / Loch Lomond / Many Rivers To Cross / Molly Malone / Neon Lights / Rain / Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting / Shosholoza / Stand By Me / The Boys Are Back In Town / The Midnight Special / The Promised Land / Three Little Birds / Waltzing Matilda
7. Out of Control / Blaze of Glory / Port of Amsterdam / The Cutter / Three Little Birds / Twilight / Deep In The Heart / Get Up Stand Up / Into The Heart / I Wanna Be Sedated
8. I Will Follow / Christmas Is Coming / Silver and Gold / Don't Let Me Down / Reward / Into The Heart
9. When Will I See You Again / Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of / In My Life / The Only Way Is Up / Wake Up Dead Man / When I Get Home
10. Bad / All I Want Is You / Fool To Cry / Ruby Tuesday / Yahweh / Dirty Old Town / I'm On Fire / Waiting For The Man / Rain / So Cruel / Zooropa / Old Man / Satellite of Love / Love Is Blindness / The Drugs Don't Work / The Lion Sleeps Tonight / Time Is On Our Side / Walk To The Water / Higher Love / Set Them Free
11. Beautiful Day / Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band / Blackbird / Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)
12. Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own / La Vie En Rose / Torna A Surriento / In A Little While
13. Sunday Bloody Sunday...with a hundred Irish kids shouting 'no more!' - plus time to go through every single kid's name for their generation / Exodus / Dancing In The Street / Johnny Was / Please / San Fransisco / Living In America / Rock The Casbah
14. Bullet The Blue Sky / I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing / Riders on the Storm / America / We Will Rock You / When Johnny Comes Marching Home / The Hands That Built America / Running To Standstill / Hallelujah / Amazing Grace / The Unforgettable Fire
15. Pride (In The Name of Love) New York New York / The Promised Land / Could You Be Loved / In The Name Of The Father / Bells of Freedom
16. Miss Sarajevo (with Luciano Pavarotti and Brian Eno)

Each member then talks about one of their favorite U2 moments - for a minute each. And then they say that u2start.com is the best site ever - and they have registered accounts here, and that u2.com is really poor.

Now, get ready for hours of encore-madness!!!!!!

30. Crumbs From Your Table (accoustic)
31. Love Is Blindness / All Along The Watchtower / He Wishes For The Cloths Of Heaven / September 1913

Encore 4 (should we have another encore? Of course, this is going to be the most maddest setlist out there).

32. Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses (acoustic - the band actually ride in on horses - instead of a lemon)
33. Angel of Harlem / I Should Be So Lucky / Mull Of Kintyre / Suspicious Minds / Sweet Dreams / Wedding March / Dear Prudence / Dirty Old Town / Girls Just Want To Have Fun / Happy Birthday
34. Party Girl / Fight For Your Right (To Party) / Get Up Stand Up / Molly Malone
35. House of The Rising Sun / When The Saints Come Marching In / The Saints Are Coming (with Billie Joe from Green Day)
36. All I Want Is You / Love Rescue Me / Sexual Healing / Stand By Me / Never Tear Us Apart / If You Wear That Velvet Dress / Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay / Bad / Love Is In The Air / In A Little While / Acrobat / A Sort of Homecoming / One / Billie Jean

Encore 5 (this is really crazy, but this is the concert of the fucking 21st century!)

37. Miracle Drug / Can't Help Falling In Love (with UB40) / Happy Birthday
38. Original of The Species with full Milan Icecream Strings Orchestra
39. Yahweh / Seven Seconds / My Hometown / Slow Dancing / Everlasting Love

45. Red Hill Mining Town / Acrobat / People Get Ready
46. Gloria / Exit / Don't Take Your Love To Town / Because The Night
47. Acrobat / Stateless / Numb / Smile

Encore 7 (more, the better I say!)

48. When Love Comes To Town / In The Midnight Hour / My Way
49. Van Diemen's Land / God Part II / Help
50. Hawkmoon 269 / Heartland
51. One Tree Hill
52. Sweetest Thing / Into The Mystic
53. Gone / Never Tear Us Apart

Encore 8 (even better!)

54. Stories For Boys / Hello
55. I Threw A Brick Through A Window
55. In A Little While / Crazy Love
56. The Ground Beneath Her Feet
57. Twilight / The Cutter / Too Shy
58. Peace On Earth
59. Please / Broken English

Ending (there's an ending????): After five and a half hours they explode into another last encore - encore 9 - (so you think anyway) with Vertigo for just over ten minutes - like this:

Vertigo / Pump It Up / She Loves You / Walk This Way / Beds are Burning / Ca Plane Pour Moi / Take Me To The River / It's The End of The World As We Know It / Never Say Never / We Will Rock You / Radar Love / Rock 'n Roll Nigger / Jailbreak / O Come All Ye Faithful / Live Forever / Highway To Hell / In The Garden / Hello / Hello, Goodbye / The Boys Are Back In Town / All I Want Is You / "40"

Encore 10 (MacPhisto makes a reappearance, explaining he's been on extended service leave and is getting old, but doesn't mind. The Trabants (little cars in One video) are also on stage).

60. Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car (with explosions like Sydney ZooTV DVD)
61. Dirty Day / Tryin' To Throw Your Arms Around The World / Lemon
62. Ultra Violet / All Kinds Of Everything / Hanging On The Telephone / Help / I Just Called To Say I Love You / My Way / You Make Me Feel So Young / You'll Never Walk Alone

Encore 11

63. Mercy / Acrobat / So Cruel
64. Walk On / Can't Help Falling In Love / Please / Always / All Along The Watchtower / London Calling
65. The Fly / Big Girls Are Best / When Love Comes To Town / 40
66. The Ground Beneath Her Feet / Art Fuck / Come On Eileen
67. Redemption Song / You Never Give Me Your Money / Carry That Weight / Get Up Stand Up / Mensch

Plus a last bit, which sounds good to me.

Edge does a 10 minute guitar riff a-la Love Is Blindness - Larry drums in the background (as a drummer does), Adam pulls off a mad bassline reciting phrases from Your Blue Room and Bono collapses because his voice is shot. As a parting appearance all of U2's management, families and friends appear on stage to sing "40" - how long. The very, very, very last song plays - the audience singing it (this is like 350000 fans) 40 / You'll Never Walk Alone / With or Without You. Larry then drums for about five minutes doing the most loudest drumming you have ever heard in your life and all those who have been a part of U2's life join them.

^^ Priceless , I'll be fainting with you when this becomes reality *sings 'sweet dreams are made of this'* .

Your actual setlist really looks like one big best of snippets to me lol, which is cool, I just doubt that the band is capable of not messing up at one point hehe. I like the sequence with Bullet - Pride - Miss Sarajevo and the 2nd encore
