Are the bars placeholders for the title/band name?

I have a thought....sure the cover is plain and dull...but the album could be the opposite. I bet it sounds very colorful. If not, U2 finally bit the big one.

As I pointed out they empasise the horizon, which in this case actually exists, so the whole cover is silly. You need the equal signs over an invisible horizon for it to make sense. i.e so they point out that the horizon is missing.

That might be a bit pre-emptive to judge, but eh, who knows. I'm quite happy we've got official news at least. 
And the Corbijn movie "Linear" is still intriguing...

I wonder how the band made a slip up on the horizon actually being present when they decided on the artwork.

I wonder why they made some titles longer like Crazy Tonight, do they do it just to annoy people?
DIscussions will be like
Person 1 "What do you think of I’ll Go Crazy If I Don’t Go Crazy Tonight?"
Person 2 "I thought I’ll Go Crazy If I Don’t Go Crazy Tonight was pretty good"
Person 3 enters "What song are you guys talking about?"
Person 1 "I’ll Go Crazy If I Don’t Go Crazy Tonight"
Person 3 "Oh is that the title? I thought it was just I'll Go Crazy, the rest didn't fit on my MP3 players screen".
See annoying.
