I'm pretty sure this has been done on almost every forum in the world, but not U2start, I don't think.

All you have to do is upload a picture of your desktop in JPEG format, upload it to Imageshack.us and show it here, the photo should be resized automatically.

To post a screenshot:

MacOS / X Command + Shift + 3

Windows users PrtScn just above your Insert key

Linux users do it the same way as Windows.

My desktop is unique, because:

- it has no icons, meaning it looks neat and different and easy to use for me.
- the photo goes well with the transparent theme of Windows Vista.

The Photos section. I went right through, and it looks really cool on a widescreen monitor.

Up to you if you wanna post it. I want to see unique desktops and unique layouts. Speaking of which:

In when you post your desktop, say two reasons why it's unique to you.

cool thread, I was waiting for something like that to show up since the boys started posting their desktops at the 'u2 and guitar gear Q&A' thread

nice concert pic, drew! I should get my desktop as clean as yours

here's mine:

why is it unique?
- I made the wallpaper of house, m.d. myself
- I got way too many strategy games on my laptop

I have 3 screens and use the same default Vista background for all of them, don't have the time to change it. Before I had three different backgrounds, that was awesome

Mine isn't that special, just some clouds from a picture I took myself. Gives it an relaxing look. Not even worth posting lol

But at least it's unique for two reasons. Picture you took yourself and relaxing.

I should get out and take some cool photos.
