Has anyone seen the Joshua Tree documentary where they go behind the scenes with Brian Eno, Flood and others (looks 1997-ish)? Fantastic watch.

You're referring to the making of JT as part of the "Classic Album" series? They did a whole bunch of albums from other bands too. THe JT one is a very good watch. The Streets bit is particularly interesting.

Leave that to Jeremy lol, he's always one for an opinion on HH

Actually, I'm mild compared to some people around here. I thought it was Gerard that was the big anti-HH guy around here.

i just make fun of him during "Streets" on the director's cam feature on Slane.

I figured it might catch on if we used this topic to rank the DVDs in order of preference;

1.) Paris
2.) PopMart
3.) ZooTV
4.) Slane/Boston
5.) Milan
6.) Chicago

R&H doesn't really count, for me lol. It's definitely one of a kind - there are great live performances but it's not quite a live DVD in my book

Yeah, Gerard's not been known to be a great fan of his but I just wanted to pay you your due lol

I haven't got the deluxe version of Slane, but the bit that ALWAYS gets me is on the Boston DVD when he goes mental after getting the Fly intro. just right or something, and he goes on spouting about how fucking amazing he thinks he is...just because he got some blue light in the background of the shot...

I suspect Drew in fact is the president of the anti-HH club here.

Ever the reserved diplomat you are ...would it be wise to ask what in particular is a matter of grievance for you?

The bit where Bono's mic is buy his side but you can hear him moaning somehow. It looks like its for one of 2 reasons. Either Bono is miming or the director and/or editor hasnt a fucking clue. So annoying. How could he not notice? Surely he watched the thing before handing it over

Must admit that I haven't noticed that BUT on that note, I've only watched Chicago once and would probably only watch it again anytime soon for an uber version of Electric Co. That's pretty much it for me with regard to highlights of that show lol, the rest of it is all pretty middle-of-the-range fare.

Best moment on any of the DVDs? Adam's reaction during DGPFYCC on Sydney when the confetti launchers go off lol...funny as hell. If anyone's ever heard the "who fired that cannon?" joke...
