...not to sound like an iTunes advert...

...but The "In The Basement" live Radiohead promo gig is now available on iTunes, all 10 songs, for a mere $7.99.

TOTALLY worth it to see Thom Yorke play some groovin' drums - yes, DRUMS - on "Banges and Mash"

So if you loves yourself some Radiohead, as I do, it's a pretty cool deal.

I met Ed O'Briend from Radihead in 2002. He is a HUGE U2 fan. Nice guy. Tall as feck! He too plays an Eric Clapton Stratocaster (amongst other guitar goodness). We talked U2 for ages. You can tell Ed is an Edge fan too, as a lot of what he does in Radiohead is atmospere, shading and texture. (And he does a lovely job, in my humble view)

Cheers Jeff! It's much better than the version that was on vh1. Filmed at different angles and such. You've met Ed?!!!! I'm very jealous.

I'll check it out. I've never heard anything by Radiohead. It must have been the coolest thing talking abt one of your fav. bands, with a member of another of your fav bands!

edit: can't find it on iTunes (US)

I can make you a compilation of some of their best songs. Not to be shared here though, of course.

Funny thing is that Ed and I were both 'oozing' about U2 and all they've accomplished...

...20 mins into the chat... it hit me... "HOLY FECK, THIS GUY is IN RADIOHEAD!!!!"

It might be hard to find. Radiohead's catalog was just put on iTunes for the first time a couple of weeks ago.

It IS on iTunes US, that is where I got it. Go to power search in iTunes - ITunes Store > Then RADIOHEAD. In the music section > go toward the bottom and et voila - IN THE BASEMENT.
There has also been an advert popping up on the main iTunes Store page at the top, too.

I LOVE Radiohead. They are just under U2 - standing in close second with Led Zeppelin and REM for me.

Them there RADIOHEAD boys make a good noise. =O)

Thanks! I don't want a lot, maybe a couple of your abvsolute favs would be nice, if its not to much trouble. If I like them, I can just preview a few things on iTunes, and get them myself

Awesome. Close second for me as well. Which do you prefer, their early work, or their newer work? (Amnesiac, HTTT, In Rainbows)
