Here's a truly brilliant soundcheck from The Unforgettable Fire Tour. Sound quality is 3.5-4 stars. Bono doesn't feature on any of the tracks so it's pure instrumental. Setlist as follows :
01. Rehearsals
02. Wire
03. The Unforgettable Fire
04. A Sort of Homecoming (amazing)
05. Bad (full length)
06. Indian Summer Sky (Edge on vocals for the most part)
07. Pride
Tracks 2-6 are all complete instrumentals and Pride cuts after 3 minutes. It's a really great listen, particularly for Edge and Adam fans. On track 1 Edge adds a little of An Cat Dubh(interesting as it was dropped after the first leg (basically still War Tour) to be replaced by more UF material as the band worked out how to play the songs). Listen to Adam belt out New Year's Day at a million miles an hour and witness that BOOMING bass at arount 3:20. Track one runs for about 7 minutes and is just full of little jams and bangs and clatters (stage set up?)
At the end of track 2 Adam plays a really great Bass riff that I didn't recognised. A Sort Of Homecoming is amazing as an instrumental. Really really worth a download. Enjoy. Also added to the soundcheck section.

Another thank you for sharing this neat recording. The original is included with the bootleg from the Birmingham, England - Exhibition Center show - did not know this soundcheck was actually recorded in Bologna. Edge's guitar tones have always been magical....but there was just something extra special about the tones he got on this tour....wow...
