U2 has a bad image to some folks. Dunno why, probably because their biggest succes was in the eighties, so many think they are an old band for old people.

biggest success in the 80s, really? I'm pretty sure they've been on the up and up

Here in Brazil, those non-U2 fans just know Bono if I say "Bono Vox"...
I completely H-A-T-E it!

Most people think so...If I say U2, they say SBS, WOWY and Streets.

Yeah, same here. When I say U2, all say SBS or Pride.
Most people know who Bono is but if I mention Edge, Larry or Adam they all go...who?

I can't think of anyone I know who doesn't know U2. All know Bono and most would know Edge. Maybe half my friends like them, half don't. A minority would think Bono's a tosser and half would think they're too political. A mate of mine who claims to hate them, actually went to their concert when they were last out here. Go figure.

Oh dear...Can't stand The Eagles. That would've been a huge insult for me. What can you do?
