That's the deal with most of these B-sides. They are probably too risky for U2 to release them, while each one of them is better than any album track, except COBL, SYCMIOYO and Vertigo. (even doubht Vertigo thouhg compared to Native Son) I've been listenening to all these B-sides for weeks and I really love them. On the other hand, I hardly listen to HTDAAB. U2 should take more risks with these songs...

I think they think that the songs they've chosen are better for the big audience. I mean: we, the fans, will listen to them anyway. The HTDAAB-songs are better for the not yet-fans, so they can get used to U2. That's my opinion.

Yeah, probably...mainstream music. Xanax and Wine for example would have been a big hit I think. Just a shame...

Fast Cars is nice, but X&W fits better with the rest of the HTDAAB-songs. It's more rock-ish than Fast Cars
