this part it the most interesting part of the book , really enjoyed it.
I don't think it was that they were sending checks to his dad. From what I have read in the past, it was that they were sending the tax bills to his dad! (Yikes!)

I've always spelled it like 'Lawrence'. But a few days ago I read the spelling 'Laurence' in U2 by U2 and right now, today I read the (weird) spelling 'Lardence' on a website.
Anyone who knows how Larry himself spell his name?
