but do not forget LARRY

without him nothing was possible

it was bono up until he accepted that bloody knighthood.
in my view larrys snub of the whole event elevates him to the coolest and most respected band member.
larrys the man!

Of course I love & respect all the band's members, they are the ONE! But my fave is Bono.. Because he is one of the outstanding & inimatable persons of the present time! He is the man of an incredible charisma.

The Edge, he's simply a genius...

after, it's Adam, he looked and looks so cool (in the beginning especially) and did great basslines for someone who didn't know how to play bass

Agh! I hate this question, I can't pick! Edge is so SO close in I love his approach to music. He once quoted that notes in a song were 'expensive' and I thought that was brilliant. Plus, those Life in the Day of the Edge movies? He's hands down the funniest member of the group.

And Larry & Adam, where would the band be without them? Techno, Irish ambience? No thanks

But Bono, how much he pours into every song, every performance...and his political campaigning which I am big BIG fan of. In fact, because of his campaigning I think it tips him over as my favorite.

So I guess I'm going with Bon Smelly Arse

One time my mom told me she used to think Larry was the best looking band memeber when she was young. Either him for his great drumming and no nonsense attitude or Edge for proving bald people can kick ass. (male baldness runs in my family.)
