We all know the infamous story about Adam missing the gig in Australia due to his partying and the ensuing intervention that followed. I read in "U2ByU2" Adam saying he stopped drinking. I wasn't sure if this was still the case.
I commend anyone who does this. It's been over 11 years since my last drink.

He might still drink, but it's more a socially accepted way of drinking, like I do (and most of us do). He isn't addicted anymore, I he was, we would notice that, I think.

I drink in moderation, i.e. not very much, but with regard to Adam I think he's just a social type of drinker type, I think the whole ZooTV episode had a major effect on his perception of drugs and the world etc., and to be honest U2 and everyone connected to them (e.g us) are the better for it

I thought I'd read he was completely sober, not even drinking coffee haha. can't remember where I read it though

You're correct, Adam hasn't touched any alcohol for many years.

You know the reason that I don't want to is Islam...if at any time I want to drink, it will be if I stop believing in Islam, then I will be able to drink...and some other stuff. Get my point?
