It's been played on every tour since it was recorded. And it hasn't varied all that much over the years. I don't want to hear it on the next tour. There's plenty of other tracks that are overdue.
I'd like to hear some of the War songs. Not New Years Day or SBS (although I would like to hear them) but I'm talking about songs like Seconds, Two Hearts, Surrender. Those would be cool. Also maybe some of the Zooropa songs, Lemon, Numb, Dirty Day. A lot of those would be cool to hear. I can name many more, but that's ok

UF- Homecoming - GREAT PICK BUT UNLIKELY. I PERSONALLY LOVE THE TUNE.
JT- One Tree Hill - DECENT CHANCE. MORE SO ONCE ON THE AUSSIE/NZ/JAPAN LEGS OF THE TOUR.
RH- Love Rescue Me - POSSIBLE
AB- So Cruel - GREAT TUNE. PROBABLY WON'T GET PLAYED.
Zooropa- Zooropa - THEY NEVER PLAYED IT IN IT'S ENTIRETY. NOW WOULD BE A NICE TIME. WOULND'T BET ON IT.
Pop- Discotheque - POSSIBLE. ESPECIALLY IF THE ALBUM SOUNDS THE WAY SOME OF THE SNIPPETS DO... MORE LIKE 90'S U2
ATYCLB- Walk on - POSSIBLE. GREAT SONG. I PREFER IF FULL BAND THAN ACOUSTIC.
HTDAAB- COBL - POSSIBLE BUT WITH AN AVERAGE OF 21-23 TUNES A NIGHT... AND THE WANT TO PLAY A LOT OF THE NEW ALBUM...N 7-9 TUNES... MIGHT BE BUMPED. ALTHOUGH I HOPE NOT. IT'S MY FAV. "BOMB" TRACK.

Re. Mysterious Ways, I'd like them to play it SO LONG as Bono goes for it on the vocals and they have Edge's piano bit. They didn't on Vertigo or Elevation which ruined it for me - PopMart would have been fine if Bono's voice wasn't completely arsed when he sang it (already fucked voice + pretty much the end of a challenging setlist on every show).

Well I listened to a Vertigo version and, no way. Maybe a Zoo TV version, maybe. But also take note: The Fly and One are better contenders. Everyone loves The Fly, and One's behind the music story pleases. MW, however, has a spot on the set next tour. Morroccan influences on the new album, I can't help but notice how similar that could be to MW.
Out of Control, SBS (Joshua Tree like?), 40 (as the overall closer), etc.

I'm really not an acoustic kinda guy...unless it's Stay, Yahweh, SATS and a few others.
I'm thinking a really slow intro like they've done with the Fly, Elevation and Discotheque in the past and then Larry just hits it suddenly and the chorus finally erupts and then some really innovative snippets at the end. They just need to find a way to rediscover it is all. If it's going to be same, same I'm not in the least bit interested.
EDIT: But my personal preference is they just give it a rest. There's plenty of others more deserving of a recall.

Yeah, I think it should be a rarity type thing, so it comes along once every now and then - keep it, just be VERY economical with it
After I'd suggested the acoustic idea (not entirely seriously) I remembered the fact that it's Edge's part that makes the song, the weird jackhammer-Wah'ed up-crazy shizzle that IS the song. You can't really take it away with taking away the essence of the song.
Yahweh in full electric would be something I'd love to see, but it won't happen because they like it acoustic, which I think is a shame...
I know some might think it's boring or not innovative enough... but I'd love LEMON to come back and bono to dress up as an older macphisto not next tour, but maybe on their very last one (which hopefully will not be any time soon). I think that'd be a funny 'comeback'
