Meh, not really sure...good song, but I think it was definitive of its time and era. It would be cool to see it again, but I'm not going to cry over its likely absence I'm afraid...and it's just not the same without BB King

I'm suggesting "Your Blue Room" again...I've described this before...but let's do it again.
The song is mostly Adam's show...as it's got this cool bass line and almost no guitar...just a backing track and drums. Why not?! We had "The First Time" which was just Bono and the Edge...let's have one which is Bono and Adam!

Edge could be in the back, playing the melody part of the backing track on a keyboard, Adam and Bono in the front (maybe an ellipse kinda thing). The song must be played as the last before the first encore...so Bono waves and disappears off the stage while Adam is still there playing the bass, then he comes to the mic and "sings" the last part of the song "zooming in...zooming out...", after that he disappears too...then Edge and Larry (kinda like 40)

It would be so shit live I reckon. Amazing in studio with that spoken lyric delivery by Bono. It would sound brutal if they attempted it.

The encore changed on the Pacific leg (dropping Ultraviolet and Desire for Daddy's and Lemon). I prefer the original encore, although I do like the swap of Bad for Dirty Day ...

They had the same encore for the whole tour, dropped it for the last ten or so shows and filmed one of those so the only official memento we have from ZooTV wasn't really what it was. No Ultraviolet on the DVD is just such a downer but in saying that, it would have been Macphisto on vocals and he had the ability to murder the song

Talking about Zoo TV, I have a vision (television, duhh) that the boys will put Zoo TV back on track for the upcoming tour.

'Fraid I don't really share it I just feel they aren't going to want to recycle it, however good an idea we might think, bearing in mind that was a big part of much of the last tour (encores et al)

If not, some TUF won't be bad either. Just have fallen in real love with it. There aint a bad TUF-show to be found, I think.

Ah, only just noticed lol. My bad. I thought you'd gone lol?! Tricked us again, honestly, "cheeky sod" lol...

Dropping Desire for Lemon/Daddy's, yeah I can go with that, but Ultra-Violet? Hmmm, toughie, no doubt...why couldn't they just have made the encore a bit longer?!

The official DVD release of ZooTV in Sydney was a great set. But I always felt Australia was duped by the inclusion of Daddy's in the encore. It weakened the performance. They never played Ultraviolet down here which was a shame. Would have preferred it over Daddy's as the Lemon lead in.
