Wow. If I was rich, I would have bought that just for this situation:
Friend : Hey Alex what time is it dude?
Alex: Well, let me check my trusty U2 clock that cost me over 1000 dollars because it's rare as %$@!
Friend: Wow that clock is cool! Good thing you're rich so you could buy that thing!
Lol. But yea, the collectible I'd be willing to spend a lot of money on, is the JT Pizza Box. I would spend hundreds on that.

Actually, I've not opened them but the FEEL like it. They are pretty heavy and thick...

war is gatefold so its thick. 180gm vinyl is heavy. They are only singles though.
