yup the verses tend to be difficult for the piano in songs like UTEOTW, the fly, and hold me, but the choruses provide some contrast because of their nice chord patterns. of the three, i think Until the end of the world would be the hardest to do on piano but i haven't actually tried it out yet.

I usually play the guitar part, just transfer it to the piano if you get me, and sing over it or something. I haven't tried The Fly or Hold Me... but I've tried UTEOTW, and like I say it's the riff that, to be honest, sounds stupid on a piano, but other than that, the rest of it sounds ok

Acoustic cover of WGRYWH now up. Voice starts off a bit shakey, and I'm not best at high notes like in the chorus, but sod it, I gave it a shot (Even Bono has offdays )!

Cheers Aussie! I tried to cover Van Diemen's Land last night too but I arsed-up because I got myself in a kefuffle fingerpicking and singing lol...that's the next acoustic thing I try though, RTSS and WOWY on the piano if I can work out a decent place for the mp3 player to sit so it doesn't get hammered by the piano noise...
