haha. A major hijack but I think it's fine to go off topic if you open that topic yourself and it's not especially related to anything specific.

Working on the weekend (I've just caught up in general chat....) is NOT acceptable for a vet-to-be.
So; if you wish to follow my advice (always a good idea in my humble opinion), you will put down the study books immediately and proceed directly to the surf/basketball court/nightclub/insert preferential way to spend social time here without hesitation. You will then have a fun-filled weekend and if you must start some work, then let it commence on Monday.
This tactic got me through vet school no problems (ok, so I failed a section in 4th year, but the re-sit in July was no bother....).
Right. I must stop now, need to get some sleep as I have to work tomorrow () (which is today already for you  my head hurts.....)

Ahhh, sorry! Right now your my mentor and i've listened to your words. haha, its not that i like to study its i HAVE to study, the vet course is very competitive here, about 300 students apply and only 120 are ALLOWED to get in (25% have to be foriegn students and a further more have to be 2nd attempt students) so my chances are VERY slim, but i will go to the courts tonight and relax, i just have to manage my fun sadly for the first 6 months 
Once i'm in though, i will not be studyin in weekends thats for sure
Good luck with your work Dan, tell me if you have any interesting cases this weekend! heard your on call? (i also read general chat hehe)
But i want more of your advice more often okay? haha
