great effort from a depleted man u team last night. was fearing the worst when i saw the initial team sheet, as in my opinion they were missing their best center half Vidic, and their best forward Rooney. luckily their best midfielder came up trumps at the right time - what a goal from Scholes. Ronaldo a joke again and the mantle of best player in the world now belongs to Messi i think, he was very very good.

Chelsea looking good in tonights game. Cant see Liverpool getting 2 goals tonight so id say Chelsea to win or this game will go to penalties.

What a great year for British clubs in Europe! Man. Utd vs. Chelsea in Moscow for the Champions' League, Rangers vs. Zenit St. Petersburg for the UEFA Cup in Manchester! What a terrific performance from the Gers...and I'm not even a fan!

Yep, although the Rangers didn't deserve it..Fiorentina were the better side. Would be ideal to switch the venues of both Cups. Zenit now has to travel to Manchester, while both Chelsea and ManUtd must travel to Moskow.

I hope Zenith and United win. 4-0 against Munchen, the German champion. I think that says enough. I don't like United nor Chelsea, but I think United deserved it more. Chelsea was lucky against Liverpool.
