Right, but Viva La Vida isn't that critically acclaimed.

True, but it hasn't really been around that long lol...wait until the awards ceremonies come around, and maybe it'll get some kinda recognition?

I'll just put it this way: Viva La Vida isn't even close to A Rush of Blood to the Head...

Argh, I disagree entirely lol. Love the guitarwork on AROBTTH but Viva La Vida just feels so much more complete and polished and, to me, better - but hey, that's my opinion ...

What I like about Viva la Vida is that the songs develope, they're dynamic. And the riffs, they are amazing (it's called riff, innit? )

Zooropa anyone? ...ok, I'll stop

I think Yeah means the news about U2 after HTDAAB. There were reports back then stating the band would quickly release a new album because there was so much material left. They didn't release anything...

I think Viva is a lot like Achtung.....they've even referred to their first 3 albums as a trilogy, plus the tour is really similar to Zoo TV.

Good morning. We can confirm that the second of Coldplay's radio shows for London station Xfm is now available to listen to online, here. During it, the band attempt to telephone their arch enemy Mr Simon Pegg. Sadly, he refuses to take the call.

do i dare mention McPhisto's phone calls?

EDIT: not sure if it was a live show or not... oops!

Well....before they do their encore, they play a remix of one of their hits (similar to PopMart with Lemon)

Plus I think I meant to say U2 in general, since U2 has really paved the way for live music (i.e. Coldplay, the Rolling Stones, etc.)

and yes, I did say the Rolling Stones (b-stage)

I agree too...Death Will Never Conquer isn't as good as Stay....but both seem like they left off their proper albums, theme wise.

A lot of the best coldplay songs are b-sides

If they didn't know better, anyone would think you had an axe to grund, a bone to pick or both at once lol...

I dunno, guys, rumour has it that Coldplay uses DRUMS and GUITARS and even a BASS here and there... and, believe it or not, Chris Martin occasionally SINGS! That's something that the four members of U2 do! They're copying everything from U2!
