So here we go guys. I think this is the 3rd iPod ready offering of mine and yet again it is a bloody smasher. I wanted to do some LoveTown material so I chose the 1990-01-05 - Rotterdam DVD because it's so fecking great but I ran into problems during conversion so boo whoo. So in steps this little gem. It's not one show, it's infact a compilation. Theres a good chunk of LoveTown on
there (2 tracks from the Point New Years Eve and the quality is awesome). Also featured is the LoveTown documentary which as you can see from the cover also features quite a few tracks (the quality is breathtaking). The making of All I Want Is You and Wild Irish Rose are interesting clips to watch also. Belfast 87 is on there too (great to see a pro-shot filmed in your home town ain't it).
The quality overall is pretty damn fantastic, just note that the quality of the unbroadcasted Whistle Test is a little crap but still very watchable. Other than that it's a pretty fantastic watch. My DVD ripper ripped this as 5 different clips instead of the usual one big file so when you download all the links and extract the file, inside that file will be 5 clips. Part 1 has the Belfast tracks, Part 2 has the making ofs, Part 3 has The Point Depot etc so it's all still in order. You won't have a song just cutting off half way through meaning you have to go play the other clip quickly to get the rest of the song so thats not too bad. I hope you dudes enjoy this one and expect more compilations in the future, they are great
PS. I'm drawing up a plan that restricts what you guys choose from so that there isn't so much choice meaning 2 of you might actually vote for the same show.
PSS. I think Nate wants to do a show for us all so i'm gonna take a break after this one and let him step in.
