Closest I've ever been was just in front of Edge's B-Stage during Vertigo Amsterdam. What a hell of an experience to be that close...can't even imagine how it would be to met on of them...I still waiting for an opportunity, just as most of you guys

when u2 played melbourne australia for the zoomerang tour of 93 i was taking photos of bono as Macphisto and I was pressed up against the front of the stage right at the feet of bono and he looked down at me and stuck his finger up. But i only noticed this until after i developed the photo!!!!!

However, this video is from last night when Bono left the Elysee Palais after he met Sarkozy. Those guys are from u2achtung.com. They waited 3 hours outside until Bono's van drove out, and he stopped, got out of the car, hugged, signed autographs and let himself get photographed with fans....*sigh*
