I recall him joking about him getting it dyed in between songs when he was doing that behind the scenes tour during the Euro leg. I know that he died it black on Zoo TV and Elevation. To my knowledge his hair stayed natural on the Vertigo tour, at least it appeared so

Yeah, I know that Bono's natural haircolour is red...But I was kinda chocked when I found out xD Always thought his hair was black. But like you all said, he dyied it under Zoo and Elevation.
