Any thoughts? Sounds like a shitty idea, to me.

My ISP had something too a few years ago, everyone went to another provider.
After a while they decided to call it off, it was not something of this time.

Which is true, in times where high definition material is more and more available you can't give your users a data limit. Sometimes I download more than a TB a month

watched Pirates Of The Carribbean on blu-ray the other night. Thoroughly impressed but not blown away. Tried it on a 26 inch 720p TV and a 37 inch 1080p display. Very good but not as WOW as I was expecting. Enough to convince me to buy Rattle and Hum on blu-ray though

Right, question regarding Vista and more specifically WMP11 - I tried to play a particular M-Peg file recently (it was a recording from my mp3 player that I edited using a basic editing programme, but it seems to be a programme that requires Please login or register to view this link, and on searching around I found that it seemed to be a common flaw in WMP11...anyone know of a way to solve it (without finding another media player lol?)

Just download this, has every codec you will ever need, basically installs plugins for WMP, so you won't need to change your media player.

50GB sounds really nice - good luck getting that in Australia.

Tell me about it, Telstra are so annoying... count uploads against monthly usage.
I would switch ISPs but they gave me a free wireless modem, and I don't think you can keep the same modem and switch providers.

You can keep the modem (unless it remains property of Telstra, which it could do), but the new ISP may not provide phone / email support for it - but it will work without the support of the company, because they obviously want you to buy theirs, but they might even give you a new one.

If Telstra gave you a free modem the new ISP should as well.

I've always liked the fact that a lot of sellers are doing 720p and call it True HD - here in Australia, just makes me laugh. Uh uh.

I've been having fun hacking the life out of the iPod touch - not finished yet.
