fibre optic cable. . . .

I googled the man behind it...soo, here is the official site:

the man claims it's a tunnel which was started by his great grandfather or something, between the two cities...he then completed it and made this thing out of it, check this out:

he even used that drill to make his 'tunnel' story look true:

But then the article herePlease login or register to view this link says that the people behind it claim it to be fiber optic cables...
man...I don't know!!

the drill story is obviously just a fantasy type story to spice it up a little. How is it possible to drill through the earth's crust. I'm sure the fibre optic cable theory is true. They could send light down those cables years ago so I suppose it was only so long before they had images flying through the.

Cool none the less

EDIT- - ''in association with tiscali'' lol

Just a big telescope or pipe, that you can see through to some other country or region with fibre-optic cables that run through the bottom of the earth.

Just what everyone needs...surely they've got better ways to spend money. Like on something useful.

$787000 ... no kidding

You know what you could spend that on? Donating it to charity - or donating towards the American health system to improve it.

Because I hear it's shit.

If news.com.au tells you something, take it very, very, very carefully - and the New York Times as well. Both are biased to no end. News.com.au is partly owned by News Limited who I wouldn't trust if they were the last news source on earth. Plenty of inaccuracy, no accuracy whatsoever.

Really, it's a nice idea and all...but what's more important? Looking at others in London and writing to them, or putting it towards something useful.

(I donno if this is the right thread for this but...)
Hi!
I'm going to buy myself a ipod nano from Production Red and thought to ask if anyone have a suggestion on what to write on the backside of the ipod. I will have Dream out Loud on but I have room for something more. And I can't decide or come up with something good xD
Of course i'm thinking about something U2-realted. To someone now about some nice quote or lyric?
