ZooTV and Lovetown.

Vertigo last leg is good too and I'm optimistic for the next tour.

Worst for me was War. I can't stand that.

Same here. It was neither Boy, nor Unforgettable Fire.

Best: Joshua Tree. His range was in full swing back then and his voice silky smooth.

Worst: Popmart, especially around the middle.

My favorite voice is right now, he's just singing straight up, and his voice is stronger than ever (sometimes, miss sarajevo etc), his voice was like velvet though on Zoo TV and really had that polish to it, but now it just simply stronger than ever and you can hear the history in his voice, which is what i like

Also love how his voice changes on every album, he sounds particularly well on In A Little While

Zoo Tv..... awesome really!!!!

the singing on Love is Blindness or Cant Help Falling in Love, on the Sydney dvd is ssoooo fantastic chilling.
and overall i think it was his best period!!

I really love the last bit of Mysterious Ways; his voice is so f*cking high. Same as for Sattelite Of Love, Dirty Day and EBTTRT. Best Bono in my opinion.
Elevation Bono is also very good.

I don't think Bono before Vertigo could pull off Miss Sarajevo, don't know what he did but what a change!

slight sidenote, when do you think Bono decided to pull it off? Do you think him and the boys were trashed one night and a drunk Bono proposes, "eh I think I could pull off Pavarotti's bit in Miss Sarajevo" Edge tells him to fuck off and Larry and Adam just stay quiet, and since Adam would be sober he just would throw it away as drunk ambition. oh boy

if that song was around in the time of ZOO, he had done it with so much power and he could have pulled it of like never before.... i think

I'm not trying to say that his voice now completely owns what he was doing during Zoo TV, I love all of Bono's voices lol....all for respective reasons. I mean, Zoo TV Mysterious Ways, "IIIIII buy you roses, I'lllll show you places you've never seen" the falsetto all through that song is killer
