The joshua tree deluxe edition came today, Yay. Felt like I should be wearing white gloves when handling the thing.
The art work and story of the joshua tree is fantastic. the documentary is ok....ish, not a great deal of footage. Full of small scenes which are interupted by music videos. Love the gig in Paris though. Seems strange seeing a crowd full of young people going mad at a U2 concert.
Its a shame that streets wasnt played, I was waiting for them to perform it (i dont look at the set list....spoils it) but it didnt happen. Im glad they played Exit and the Unforgettable Fire. But a major spoiler was when they stopped during WOWY because of something about tear gas (Why was tear gas being used?), spoilt the mood. But on the whole I love my new buy!!!

Dear Friends, today I finally bought the Deluxe Limited Edition re-release of The Joshua Tree. It's my first buy in 2008 - good choice I think. In one of the biggest record stores here in Hungary, the box set version cost exactly the same as the 2CD version, so it was no question which one will jump in the basket. It is still wrapped up, canT1 twait to open the treasure box! It's the first time I visit this thread - I tried to avoid any spoilers/pics, now let the fun begin!
