Have you read 'Walden'? R.W. Emerson

No, but I want to. Perhaps I should find it at my school library.

Awesome. I'm grabbing that right after the Portland show. My next concern is why I have YET to buy R&H the vid. Tomorrow, I will though. Next up will be Slane and Boston.

um... YEAH!!! Why DON'T you own those?!?! I saw R&H 3 times in the movie theatre "Fuck the revolution!" I thought he was soooooooo cool!!

It depends on how long you have to work on the project - Walden might be a bit much to read and research if you only have a week or so to work on it. Was Poe reacting to or mirroring society? I've always thought of him as sort of self-absorbed. A cool writer but don't know what he really offered up to society (more than a mirror of the darkness of human nature).

Money money money... Some people got have it. Some people really need it. Saving up for driving school and tuition, yea. There is Netflix for those though. I wonder how much R&H is on iTunes.

Where do you work? And do you get an employee discount? I know what you mean about saving $$. I'm not sure I'll buy the re-issues of War/Boy/October when they come out. I'll def get Red Rocks though if there's new material on it!!

I work at a Grocery store which doesn't offer a discount. I don't mind though. As for the remasters, I'm concerned with one thing: High-fidelity. That's why I'm glad they bought the Joshua Tree before the remaster took its place.

R&H for $8 at the grocery store? That's pretty cool. And Slane (as you probably know) is worth every cent no matter how much it costs. I listen to the audio from it about once a week!

Anyway, I've got some people coming over soon, so I should go. Good luck with the report!

Thanks zooey. Perhaps I will read Walden. Btw my report is due Wednesday, which makes this so much more fun.

I know some people on U2Start were the masterminds behind the T.U.B.E. bootleg site...if you guys are reading, you've assembled a remarkable site, I enjoy using it a lot.
