1. Hey everyone...I've been on the site for a few months now, and I don't think I've ever properly introduced myself. You might have seen me around, posting a few comments, playing the lyric game, or uploading a few photos to the "photo caption game" (great game by the way, we should get that one back up and running...) So, without further ado:

I'm Jeremy (also go by Jay), I'm 26 and live in Los Angeles. I sit in front of a computer for the entire workday, so I'm frequently checking in here at u2start.com. I've liked U2's music for a long time now (probably since around the time Rattle & Hum came out), but didn't become a rabid fan until about 1995, in the lull between Zooropa and Pop.

I've got a decent collection of official material, and have joined been expanding my bootleg collection through this great website. (Thanks Remy and other crew members!) I'm kind of a bootleg snob of sorts, as I really only prefer listening to the highest quality (TV/Broadcast) bootlegs. I can do some audience recordings, but....I try and stick to the one's with amazing sound quality. (Who wants to hear some random fan's conversation about where the bathrooms are anyways?)

Anyways, that's me! Hope to see you around...

    Welcome to this awesome site
  12. I'm gonna get in on this introducing oneself game...My name's Tom(obviously), I'm 18 and from England. Vertigo was the first song I knew by them and I started getting into U2 just after Easter 2005, getting friends to send me songs before finding out my dad had Rattle and Hum. Then an uncle gave me a load of their albums and things have been going well ever since. I briefly flirted with Muse but nothing happened. I know lots of other bands but would consider them just friends, the closest being Foo Fighters.
