He doesn't use them live, but I have a sense that he have some Ibanez pieces in his guitar arsenal and recorded some stuff with them .... But I'm not 100% sure ...

The only IBANEZ item that I've seen The Edge use is the Ibanez TS-9 Tubescreamer overdrive. I've seen nor heard any evidence of him ever useing Ibanez guitars.

ONe during Popmart? He used a Gretsch Country Gentleman on most of the PopMart shows. I am not 100% sure of the vintage... (I've read it was either a 1964 or 1965):

It was also the Gretsch Country Gent that was used on Please:
And "Do You Feel Loved" (the 6 times they played it) during PopMart:

And oddly enough Last Night On Earth (Las Vegas). Although he latered began using the Les Paul Goldtop. [Yout can see Edge playing LNOE on this Country Gent AND Bono playing a lovely black Gibson Les Paul Custom on the Vegas clip below - NICE!!!]

During ZOOTV he used a Gibson 330 which looks similar to the Epiphone Casino that The Edge used for "All Because Of You" during the Vertigo tour and also used for "Crumbs..." on the in studio live bit on the HTDAAB bonus DVD

Cheers chap, you have many an answer! I wouldn't mind a Gretsch like that...(I was about to say "country gent" then realised it may have many a dodgy connotation...)

Country Gents are nice guitars. Edge has a 1963 that he's been using. (City fo Blinding Lights) I think Edge was going for the Georger Harrison sound when he first got one... maybe explaining why the ones he's had are of the 1963-1967 vintage.
For POP and PopMart there was a 1964 or 1965 (depending on the article your read) and a 1967. These apparently fell victim to the flood at HQ in 2002 (when U2 were in N. Orleans playing at the SuperBowl).
The band lost LOTS of gear in that flood. Edge original Rickenbacker (the 1967 that was used in R&H, ZOO tours through Elevation), Some of Bono and Adam's gear.
And as Gretsch recently got Chet Atkins back as an endorser... so they have the Chet Atkins Country Gentleman name on them again and not the 1980's - 2006 "Country Classic" moniker.
What does new Country Gent run? About $2400-$2700. What does a 1963-1967 vintage Country Gent run for? Depending on condition: $3200-$5000

So the only one he has left that you know of is the '63 vintage?

He's got the 1963 and there is assuredly a backup of similar vintage.

Yeah, I think we should just now assume he has backups of everything!
Quick one - when did he get the cream Gibson LP? I mean, did he have it before Achtung Baby (i.e. during R&H?) or did he get it around that time?

Good call. Just confirmed that via youtube.
EDIT: although it is a 6 string. Did he play a 12 Rickenbacker during R&H?

It wasn't 'cream' to start with. Many topcoats on guitar finishes yellow or change colour over time. White often turns to cream/yellow-ish. Fender Lake Placid Blue can turn a bit more greenish...
Edge's two LP Customs started off white. I've seen pictures of The Edge and the auctioned 1975 LP Custom from around 1982-ish. Overtime, like many white finished, it yellowed. To answer your questions, he got it around 1982.
