my sister likes some of the hits, but thinks Bono is a bit of a twat. I managed to get some people to respect them, but not necassarily be a fan.

I sort of got my friend Breagan into them. His dad gave him the best of 1980-1990, but he never really listened to it, eventually got him to go back and give it a listen. Now he likes them, but they're not his favorite band. I made another one of my friends a U2 mix CD, but she's only listened to about 2 or 3 songs off it (She told me that she LOVED Beautiful Day though, so it's a start)

when your a fanatic it's hard to get people to understand the depth of your love of u2. other people will listen to them and like them but i am like "oh man listen to that... when the drums and bass kick and bassline comes in on one... oh that is perfect music" and they just look at me like.. yeah, it's a catchy tune. and i say "catchy??? thats it??"

it's agovating

1. Out Of Control
2. The Cry/Electric Co. (from UBRS)
3. Gloria
4. A Sort Of Homecoming (from Wide Awake)
5. The Unforgettable Fire
6. One Tree Hill
7. Running To Stand Still
8. Hawkmoon 269
9. God Part II
10. So Cruel
11. Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses (can't resist this one)
12. Ultraviolet (Light My Way)
13. Until The End Of The World
14. Zoo Station
15. Zooropa
16. Dirty Day
17. Mofo (Phunk Phorce Mix)
18. Gone
19. In A Little While
20. Miracle Drug
21. Love And Peace Or Else
22. City Of Blinding Lights

I think this is the perfect list. You hit all the big ones.
Has he heard The Fly? That might be the only other one I'd consider letting him hear.
