I know U2 seems to be past the point of playing other performer's songs (except in snippet form), but if you could have U2 perform a cover of any song, what would it be?
I've always thought they should do a cover of The Killers' "All These Things That I've Done." (Can't you picture Bono pointing at his "Soul" shoes and singing "I've got soul but I'm not a soldier?")

But Bono would really make this even more beautiful... And he already song "You can HAVE it all" snippet, don't know if it was ment from this song though )

Funny, when I was listening to my Johnny Cash-CD yesterday and Hurt was playing, I was thinking the exact same thing, wondering what U2 would make of this.
There's lots of songs I would like to see them cover, just to name a few:
