Point Depot 12-30-1989: Bono says during "Out of Control"

"Oldies but goldies . . . It's beautiful to be back in Las Vegas tonight! I remember playing Dublin back at the turn of the decade, '89 to '90 . . . There was a special night!"

HUH?? Maybe future Bono borrowed Edge's spaceship and he went back in time one night and an entire continent too far . . .

It's not funny, but powerful -

1993-08-12 London, England - Wembley Stadium; BTBS

"America, fuck you! United Kingdom...fuck you! Fuck you Germany, fuck you France..."

He was not a happy bunny...

Not really a live show, but:

"If I had a head like yours I'd probably bury it."

Bono, just after Discothéque (Earl's Court 2001-08-19);

"Hello, hello, hello there...the hardest thing is to say hello. When I go to a rock show, somebody says hello, I go whack!"

Crazy man, he is...

Maybe not so funny for someone who wasn't on the concert in Gothenburg 29-07-2005 but I can tell about it either way He didn't say anything funny but the thing is that a little suprise was settle from the swedish U2 Fan Site and it was diceded that everyone that went to the concert would have something white with them to wave with when the band came out on stage.
And I tell you... Bono's face when he came out in stage was PRICELESS!
Well...like I said. Not really hilarious, but thought I would tell it if somebody didn't know it.
