  1. Hello all!

    By chance does anyone have or know where a copy of this radio broadcast can be found and downloaded? Back in the day I sat by my radio and recorded (on both sides mind you!) this Westwood One radio broadcast. It was one of the best things I'd heard...I loved all the interviews and live clips in it. If anyone has any info please please please help a fellow fan out, I'd be in heaven!

    ZOO RADIO TRANSMIT (PROMO)
    CD consists of interviews and songs mixed together into a one hour program for radio. A fifth track is 0:20 in length and is a commercial for the radio show. Content mixed in the four tracks includes the following:
    * The Fly (Lounge Fly Mix)
    * Mysterious Ways
    * Slow Dancing (Live)
    * Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses (Temple Bar Edit)
    * Satellite of Love (Live)
    * Two Shots of Happy, One Shot of Sad (recorded live on the Zoo TV Plane)
    * Interviews with BP Fallon
    * Bono's Calls to the White House
    * Zoo Radio Theme by Primus
    * Television the Drug of a Nation by Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy
    * Rush (Live) by BAD II
    * Hazy Shade of Criminal by Public Enemy


    Released to promote the Achtung Baby album and the Zoo TV tour this promo for radio was produced by B.P. Fallon in 1992. B.P. was the opening DJ for the Zoo TV tour in the US. Two versions of this CD were said to have been produced, the version that made up this promo disc, and an alternate version which was not released, featuring additonal live material and less studio material. A bootleg of that second version has appeared in trading circles under the name "Outside Broadcast". As mentioned, that bootleg is NOT a copy of this promo item.

  8. Thanks emiel...I am going to check it out. I downloaded the one you had Yeah, and it's so close! I didn't know about that one but it is very similar. I found the track listing for the Zoo Radio Broadcast I had heard on the radio ages ago, here's what I found:

  9. Sorry to post again....but THANK YOU EMIEL!! I just downloaded the first part of the one you mentioned and that was the one!! I can't begin to tell you how happy I am!! For a long time now I've been trying to find this, now I can finally relax and enjoy it!! My best friend and I are completely devoted to U2, this is going to be such a surprise for her! Again THANK YOU, and a big thanks to everyone else with all your help and friendly comments!
